My name is Maria and although I have always loved and
cared for all kinds of felines, my passion is for Persian cats.
After getting my first Persian, a blue-eyed, white female
named "Lady Vanilla Ice" I became so passionate
about the breed, that I started to import cats from many
highly respected catteries in Europe.
What got me started on my way as a breeder of Persian
cats was the first female I imported from Denmark, a red
blotched tabby female named "Hope".
As everyone who has a Persian cat for a pet will know;
they have the nicest temper and most affectionate nature
of and breed of cat. And so, during my years as a breeder,
I have always searched for that loveable, open expression
which is usually associated with the personalities of
Persian cats. My breeding programme also concentrates
on producing "problem-free" cats, that is to say,
cats with open nostrils, big eyes, tiny ears, open expressions
and above all, no health problems.
All my cats come from PKD tested parents and are guaranteed
PKD free. As a cattery, we have also been tested for and are
free of FELV and FIV.
To me, my cats are part of the family, who enjoy a free run
of my house, instead of being cooped up in cages. This approach
has the added bonus that Kings Persian cats are well adjusted,
social animals who love to be around people and enjoy fuss
and attention.
